Our client is an international player in offshore marine services, offering a broad range of surface and subsea marine services for oil & gas fields and wind farms.
THE ROLE
- Position: Interim Finance Manager
- Start Date: immediately
- Duration: 4 to 6 months
- Location: Bucharest (near the airport)
- Reporting To: Managing Director of the subsidiary and CFO’s division
We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Finance Manager to join our client’s company in Bucharest. This role is critical to supporting and improving the financial operations of the subsidiary, which is currently experiencing some challenges. You will supervise a team of 2 accountants and a management controller, ensuring the administrative and financial functions are managed effectively.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose the scope of intervention, teams, and tools.
- Support the current Finance Manager and assess their potential.
- Improve the reliability of administrative and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with local rules and Group accounting standards.
- Secure closing and reporting to the Group.
- Enhance communication with customers through structured processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, and reporting.
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with international and local regulations.
- Deliver timely and accurate statutory and management reporting in line with IFRS and IAS.
- Oversee bookkeeping and ensure the reliability of financial information.
- Monitor cash management and mitigate financial risks.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior Finance Manager with a strong background in SME finance operations within a corporate group. Fluency in English and Romanian is essential. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, result-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills.
